I tried the Gamma years ago.at that time I did not know as much about lines as I do now. Butit was slightly stronger than SOS. I did not use it long and went back to SOS. I used SOS for years until I got into JDM lines. If I wanted to use a 4 pound test line I would get the 4# Twitch Master. In my opinion it is a much better line than SOS. Of course it costs quite a bit more but I find it to be worth it. I know you need the 4# to pull those fish out of the wood you fish. I think you will find the Twitch Master to aid you in doing that due to its low stretch. SOSand Gamma to the best my memory serves me has a lot of stretch.
