This is not casting with rod but dropping straight down to 100’ vertically jigging, as long as the drag is set right, the rod
can handle it.

Anyone have experience with Daiwa Gekkabijin Air rods? Was looking at the 68L-T specifically.
I have a 58 Lunakia for sale in the FS forum.
Cheers

My Eradicator rods were both shipped to me with a small plastic tube covering the tip section.
Is this an Abu Garcia thing or did the seller do this? I’d like to get more of these little tubes for my other rods and was hoping to find them somewhere

I think it is an Abu thing. Never could get my hands on an Eradicator since I was late to the party, but I have two Satly Stage Prototype - Ajing slow taper, and mebaru. Both had their tips in plastic tubes. However, my area rod, Diplomat Extreme, did not have the same.
That tube would surely keep delicate tips safe.

I've probably got several in my closet that I don't use. If interested shoot me a pm and I'll send them to you. Would have to dig through to tell you how many I have. Scott
Eagerly awaiting a Daiwa Presso Air AGS 510 XUL. It’ll be paired with a 1000s Presso reel with SLP Works knob.
