So I caved and just ordered my first JDM rod and reel. When they come in I'd like to pair them up with some JDM line. I currently fish 4# fluorocarbon (Berkeley Vanish) and really like it. The rod is an XUL only rated up to 3# and the reel has a shallow spool so I'd like to try out some 2 or 3# fluorocarbon on this set up, with a preference to 3#. If FC line is what you want in 3# test take a look at SunLine FC Sniper BMS Azakaya. If you decide to go the nylon line route the Varivas Twitch Master VLS is a great nylon.
