Just an FYI... Tackle Warehouse is running a 15% off Sale on most items and when you add the JDM version Daiwa Ballistic FW LT 1000 series to the shopping cart at 229 it is eligible for the discount and final price comes to 195 and change. Not a bad deal for that reel, I have one and it is a great reel, smooth and lightweight. Sale runs through Tuesday, check it out if you are in the market for a reel at that price point.

I'd also check out there selection of Japanese lines. They have some excellent Sunline and YGK lines at the lowest prices on the web (cheaper than Japanese web stores), an even better deal at 15% off...

I’ve never been able to find any 2-3 pound test lines on there....they do have Suffix NanoBraid in 2# test but that’s all I see there.

Neither have I, but I wasn't referring specifically to 2-3 lbs test lines.

The Ballistic was a reel I had my eye on but I think I am going to pass. I’ve been waiting on the Revos.

Theta must not be in the cards for me... DHL shows package made it to NC on 8/31 with delivery to happen by 9/3... still no package and doesn’t show an estimated delivery time now... call to DHL took 20 minutes to speak to a rep... she placed trace on package and they are supposed to call tomorrow... doesn’t sound good :/

Under a different thread someone posted that Daiwa was supposed to be releasing a new Presso in September. Well it's September and I've been looking everywhere, but I haven't seen anything. Anyone have any info on this?

If you can get this page to translate through Google Chrome it will show you all the new products for September and October. They debuted two new Presso rods and a new Gekkabijin X reel recently, but no Presso reel that I am aware of. I think Plat may have the new Gekkabijin X reel.
