I saw that on the website looks like a good idea...
After losing a couple, I started putting the spool inside a clear baggie before dissembling the drag stack. I use dental picks, cheap from Harbor freight, stuck through the baggie. WHEN the springs fly, they stay inside. If I get interrupted, I can close the baggie up until I return.Quote:

I did the bearing upgrade to 2 of ultraslab's reels - while he drove my truck with his boat in tow on the way from fishing. I used the baggie trick, and managed to get them both done without losing a part! Try it while rolling down a country road. Ha.
