I was just looking at one of those for my ML setup, and it looks awesome. I prefer not to support the CCP so as much as I like my Luvias I think we will have a really great option there. It’s been said that the US version is slated to be here as soon as August 8th (might be a bit optimistic though).

The US models will include a 1000 size version as well. The long stroke spool is very interesting along with new type gearing. I suspect they will sell like hotcakes if priced around $200.

I emailed digitaka a few days ago and got the canned response from them... “Have requested re-stock from Abu”

Hopefully that’s not the end of them.

FYI, Asian fishing portal has put the 17 Vanquish FW Tune 1000 SHG on for $400 on the auction site.

Dang, there were six for sale when I posted, the pulled four off the listing for some reason.

Digitaka is on vacation until the 18th.

I think the new Vanquish 19 might be a better reel for not a lot more money relative to the price.
