Speaking of nets. I think you mentioned a jdm net in one of your videos but can't remember what one. What's a good net, us or jdm?

I received an Olympic rod a week ago, paid $230 shipped from Ebisu3 on Rakuten Global. He is a great dealer, kept me updated during the whole process.

This was my 3rd JDM rod and I have another on the way. Revamping most of my arsenal.

Thank you all for helping me spend my hard earned $$!

    Alphahawk,

Any thoughts on Daiwa Presso AGS on sale at Plat? Seems like a rare opportunity to own a trout rod of that caliber at a reasonable price (the price comment is certainly up for debate). I have a couple of Daiwa bass rods that employ SVF Nanoplus blanks, but I wonder how they make use of this material in something as, presumably, soft as an area trout rod.

    Best,
    s_v

I'll give you a report when mine comes in. Got up early this morning and pulled the trigger.

Its value for the dollar...has 2nd generation of AGS guides using Toray 1100G graphite.....same material used in the high end Graphiteleader rods. If you want it better not wait. This is where the Japanese shine....making soft rods with great sensitivity.

    Thanks, Alphahawk.

Per Toray 1100G found in this Presso's GUIDE FRAME, do you mean to say that Graphiteleader uses it for their BLANKS?
