I have been researching telescopic rods for a little while and I found this JDM telescopic rod review. This guy sounds like he knows what he is talking about. He mostly talks about bass rods but I think what he talks about would apply to ultralight and light action rods as well. Just posting here in case anyone else is interested in this type of rod.

Ive watched several of his fishing videos. He hasnt put one up in a while. Fishing in Singapore can be hard to do at times. But I do think he knows what he is taking about.
