Ok....some advice. Throw out all you know about US market UL rods.....most of it just does not apply to JDM UL rods that many of us are using. The only rods that would come close to a St Croix Panfish action....and or power....would be area or stream trout rods. I don’t know the first thing about a stream trout rod as they are mostly used to cast spoons....small hard baits. They are not that sensitive and that is why I stay away from them. I would ask what type lure and weight you would be casting.....what specie. I’ve got some videos on my channel that explains and shows bending curves of Ajing......Mebaru......and area trout rods. All of my rods are high build quality but the Olympic Graphiteleader rods that are made in Japan are of impeccable build quality.....as is the TenRyu Lunakia. From your post sounds like an 2018 Corto from Graphiteleader would fit the build.....but 4# test line is max for that rod. But it is a heck of a rod. Several on here own one. So if you can tell us what you want to do with it we could better help you.
