Well....this is certainly the place to find out. I have the Tict Finesse....it is an excellent crappie rod with superb bite detection. However....if money is no object I would sure look at the Ever Green Limber Tip...the new Superior series. Joe gave us his assessment and Joe is a crappie fisherman....I catch a lot of crappie but do not consider myself a crappie fisherman. I have been reading about the Limber Tip since 2012. It is a rod of legend and I can only assume the new series is out of this world. One thing I’m learning is blank technology is advancing by leaps and bounds. Graphiteleader makes the blanks for Ever Green. Here is a good video demonstrating some of the technology in the blank. Lot of money....but in a whole lot of folks opinion Ever Green is at the top of the heap. Tough decision for sure.

Shimreels on eBay has them and I have not seen a place you can get them cheaper. Price Plat quoted me was no cheaper.

From the maker of the Evergreen's blanks and at double the cost of the Superior, it better be!

Full disclosure: I haven't caught a crappie yet, I am curious just how much a person is willing to spend on an ultralight rod when the cost is no object (sorry for a bit of an oxymoron of a sentence). Others are giving great advice here though.

Like a lot of new rods that come out I try to read up on them. I have yet to find any reference on the net where anyone has spoke about this rod. I am sure somewhere someone has purchased it...but there are not even any reviews on Olympics site about this rod. Using autoclave technology they can make the blank lighter...stronger....slimmer and more sensitive. There are a few companies out there that use autoclaves...but it is a very expensive process. I suppose if my retirement income was doubled...or if I still worked in Saudi....I might try one....LOL.
