This is great! Thanks! What program did you use to format those tables? I wouldn’t mind replicating your tables.

Thanks Guys for all the great info. I'm new to crappie fishing(30 years since I have really been fishing at all) I retired and bought me a boat and most of my information has come from the internet and youtube. There are a lot of nice folks out there and its been very helpful. First off, I wasn't aware that you use a 1/32 as much at it seems. Does that also mean you don't use a 1/4 much or at all? And where do I buy the rods? Thanks for your responses. Jim
.
1/32 is my standard jig size -- use it 90% of the time. 1/64 is great for shallow water. 1/16 is for deeper. Never go heavier, except for bass. For bass, I might go as high as 1/8.
As far as where to buy, there is one US source that I know of:
https://www.finesse-fishing.com/
That is Chris Stewart's website. He is a member here.
You can also order directly from Japan, which is not as difficult as it might sound.
1.5 gram....equal to 1/19.....is what I fish for waters about 20 feet deep. In shallow water I go to 1/2 gram or 1 gram....equal to about 1/64-1/32. You can find a ton of info in this thread....you can also check out my YouTube channel "TroutMagnetMan" and see some of these rods in action.
Regards
Made the decision to get a second JDM rig. I'd like something longer than the 6'3" Majorcraft Finetail rod I got back in April... in the 6'6" to 7' ft range.
Looking for an all around, do it all panfish rod that can handle bream, crappie, and the occasional bass.
I'm rereading this thread and the first two rods I came across that interested me are the Triple Cross and the Corto.
Is anyone selling the 6'10" Corto these days? Global Ratuken closed up.
Hard to find GraphiteLeader rods now....or at least a webstore to buy from. You can still go to Rakuten and shop the web-stores. I have tried to buy an Super Bellezza from a couple of stores on Rakuten but they will not respond to my email. There are buying services that you can buy through but I have never used any. Plat can most likely get it for you....but sometimes when Plat steps out of its regular inventory they may charge more than say what you would have gotten it from off of Global Rakuten stores....or I should say stores that normally carry it. Contact the following. I bought from them when using Global Rakuten but EMS is not working to the states so I am not sure if they would ship with DHL or FedEx.

Global Rakuten is no more...

Global Rakuten is no more but Rakuten is fully functional with same web stores that sold on Global Rakuten. But the 2 web stores that sell Graphiteleader rods....Sanpei...and Ebisu......will not use FedEx or DHL. So until EMS mail is running again can't get rods from them. I contacted both and they will be very happy to sell to me when EMS is back up and running. Sure is frustrating.
