Thread: Weiss ???

25 years ago when I was teenager, me and my dad would put in at spring creek??, he always called it John’s. It was off co rd 22 I think. We would get minnows at the bait store at the 4 way, pay to launch I think, then ride up the road a mile or so maybe, and put in. We would fish that creek fed cove. We would drift minnows and cast as well. Is that place still open to the public?

We used to load the boat with crappie in Spring Creek. Fishing has not been good for us there in the past recent years but to my knowledge the boat ramp is still open to the public.

Appreciate the info. Always looked forward to that place growing up. May try it out anyway this year.
