Haven’t seen a report in a while… Hit limestone creek this morning with my 9 year old. We were single poling minnows for the most part. Water was 54 and dingy with a slight flow toward the river. We fished 7am - 12pm. Ended up with 14 keepers, several approaching 15”. Also close to that many shorts that we released.
I had him at 24” deep, and I was fishing about 6’. He caught 3 to my 1 all day. Most fish came from lay downs within 200 yds of the main river.
Bighting really well right now.
Saw a kid fall off a bass boat into the water (while fishing, not moving) They got him back in safely. Stay safe, and wear your life jackets!
Overall it was a beautiful day on the water with low wind.
