    Default Think this guy will make it?


    Caught him today in the middle gravel pit off limestone creek. Wondering if it was from a bird or gater. He was 10” but otherwise looked very healthy. Surprised he was doing as well as he was…..

    windy day, didn’t catch many crappie but caught a bunch of cats.

    water was quite clear, a bit muddier the further you got up the creek. Water temp was 59 at daylight. Seemed to be full pool or close. Able to get my Jon into the 1st pit from the west facing entrance.

    Interesting to see a fresh would like that !
    have seen quite a few that has already healed up,
    id say he makes it.

    These are fish coming into the backwaters from the TN river. I never thought of that. The way the cut looks, it almost looks like the pitch of a prop…
