    Default Wedowee. 2-22 and 23rd

Water temp 44 at lunch both days. Cloudy off and on through out the morning. Windy Saturday not to bad Sunday.

tried pulling jig ups big river, but just wasn’t any fish stacked up, or none I could find. So went to side imagine the standing timber on channel. Found few few but not what I was looking for. Finally found some decent fish graph, but couldn’t peg what color they wanted. Long short strikes from small fish. Hunted for fish little while longer and finally hit the mother load. These fish was stacked up thick as ants on a cookie. I mean stacked!! Got a 2 man limit Saturday in 2 hours after culling small fish after lunch. And got a 4 man limit Monday morning. Fished from 7:30 to 11:30 and had 120 keepers. Throwed back that many or more. Casting jigs, up river in current, below brush. Would have ti watch your line just like shooting a dock, they’d thump or it would go slack. Never felt them “bite it” per say.

black ball head with pinkish or purplish body. Only colors they’d hit. Count to 8 after casting then work it back to you. Be a fish hit almost every cast. Don’t happen much but I’ll take when it does. 😁😁
