I couldn't take it any longer, needed to get out and see what the fall bite was shaping up to be. Found these 8 that volunteered to make the ride home with me this morning. Bait shop said they had no minnows so no lighted bobber fishing, just jigs today. Was throwing a double jig set up with a 1/24 on the bottom and a 1/32 on top. Just about any white or white sparkle bait got bit. Fish are still a little skinny, but they were chasing the shad that were thick in the area I was in. Water clarity was 3' and they were in the top 3 FOW chasing the shad. It's only going to get better from here as the water continues to cool.
