Thread: Cotaco Report 1/27-1/28

Fished Cotaco Friday and today.

Friday was really slow. I managed 4 before hanging it up. Water was moving fairly quickly and visibility was at about 2ft.

Everyone I had spoken to was in the same boat. Not a lot of productive fishing from what I had heard.

Saw an older gentleman pull 5 sizable largemouths out of the water. One of them had to be at least 6lbs. It was a whopper for sure.




On the other hand, I did well today. I managed to get 20 in the boat. 19 keepers and 1 dink also a few bass and a Buffalo. Water conditions were about the same as Friday. I seemed to be the only one putting them in the boat today. I ended up being the last man out there before I left at lunch time. I don’t think I’ll know how to catch them if the water goes back to normal LOL!
