Big G Stands for Guntersville Lake located in North Alabama created by TVA when they dammed up the Tennessee river to make Hydro electric energy and for flood control by permanently flooding woods and farm lands that would go underwater when the old Tennessee river would flood back in the early 1900's. Made a nice pond that has a few crappie in it But more famous for its Green trout population, heaven forbid you keep one of them
