    Drop shot method with #2 hook. Depends on type structure for type and size line.

    I don't use minnows but have noticed something over the years. I use very small hooks which helps with smaller crappie and gills, but I don't notice any issue missing larger fish. My standard jighead is a 1/32oz with a #6 hook and a tiny 1" paddle tail grub (Charlie Brewer Slider).

    # 2 light wire for minnows, 6 sickle on 1/32 , 4 sickle on 1/24 hand ties, 1/32 size 2 sickle for plastic
