Thread: Daughters first crappie

Now she's caught a many fish including crappie. Such as bedding fish or trolling flats or spawning bg or catfish or even fish that caught her with float & jig. But today the water was tan and we were finessing jigs in and around tops. She was fishing a 1 inch gold glitter jig with an orange tail from Bobs jigs on a 1/64 oz head. I was coaching her to stay in contact with jig ...now let it fall...reel some...that sort of thing. I didn't see the thump but I heard the drag screech for a second. She caught a few more after that and knew she missed many more. That's my girl.
