I asked this a while back. I’m wanting a GOOD 7’ rod for cast and retrieve. Preferably light but would settle for light medium. I’ve been using Shakespeare micro series light. I love the action,sensitivity and most everything about it. It’s way cheap but I’ve not used anything I like better for those things. Here’s the problem. I’ve broke 3 trying to get just average size crappie to the surface. So I’m ready to get something stronger before fall. What y’all recommend?
