Thread: Looking for a boat

ok guy's Im looking for a 15-16 ft "wide" jon boat hull and trailer or complete used rig possibly...was out the last 2 days looking at dealers and they dont have anything in stock....is there a page on this forum for buying and selling or do any of you know of a dealer in North Alabama with stock to choose from? a 1652 or 1552 would be ideal but all the dealers local that I can find have to order one including backwoods landing...new or good used that doesnt leak if anyone knows of one post it up and thanks in advance....

Yeah there is a classified section at the bottom of the main crappie fishing page. I'll keep a watch around by the house for ya. I got a friend that's been looking for a decent pontoon for 3 months.

I stopped at Andalusia Marine on the way back from Florida last week. He said everything has been on back order for months. He just got in an Alweld 14 foot, 48 inch with trailer that was sweet. I didn't ask how much, but was tempted to buy it and bring it home, LOL! I know that's a long ways, but looks like the long back order time is finally starting to ease up.

The people at Andalusia Marine are great. Fair to deal with.
I had a 24’ Alweld custom made at the factory. It was my favorite boat ever and I have had a lot of boats over my lifetime.
I would even take it offshore about 10 miles while at the house in Destin.
You can’t go wrong if you decide to go with alweld.
