Thread: Looking for Opinions

Caught a few crappie yesterday and I attached a picture of shad and eggs out of one of the females. These eggs already had bloody dilated blood veins as you should be able to see. The eggs weren’t bloody yet. But based on the look of these it want be long till they lay. Water temperature 50-54 degrees. I have been fishing down here since late nineties and always seem to miss main spawn going in March and April. Thoughts?
