Thread: Kayak report for Limestone creek

I fished yesterday from 8 till 3 in limestone creek. I finally caught a crappie. I kept 12 and had 10 or so that were short. The water was down where you had to drag your kayak over several of the gravel bars. I saw several deer crossing the creek. I caught most of the crappie on a short stretch of bank with 2 tree tops in the water. All were caught on bobby garland and a small bear hair jig fished 12 inches under a float. Hope to go back when the water is at winter pool. I looked for the lost keys with no luck.
