I haven't fished stock and take trout since Missouri 10 years ago, but your standard bluegill fair will work. I use a #6 hook with the lightest weigh you can cast but instead of a worm or cricket. I use the same Crappie nibbles that I put on jigs. They're conditioned to thing something hitting the water is time to eat, not a lot of sport to it, but fun. I filet mine, the small bones left will dissolve in the grease. Not Crappie, but not bad either!
