Took a day off from work to enjoy a great day on the water. Conditions improved greatly from my last trip several weeks ago. Water levels are finally coming down and water temp was 63 degrees. I fished from 0600-1200. There were lots of 10-11 inch fish. I kept 15 by 0830. Spent the rest of the time catch and release. Probably caught 50 total. Good size bluegill were numerous. Small largemouth bass were also active. Bite was steady using BG Monkey milk and white marabou jigs. Most fish came near the mouth of the river.

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!
