Finally found the time to take my kayak out. Had several places I wanted to try. But I had to finish the honey do list from the weekend and got a very late start. I narrowed it down to Madison county lake and duck river. Duck is much closer so I went there. I probably caught 50 or 60 gills. I fished from around 2:30 till around 7:30. I caught a bunch of gills there last year crappie fishing. They were all at least a little above average. Today out of those maybe 15 were that. The rest were way small.So I returned them. But I had fun and figure it was experience in the kayak. I want to be half as good as Ditch Basser when I grow up. Lol
