Bob is correct, when the kid's go it's all about them. Take lots of snacks let them call the shots. And easy tactics. A box of crickets and some gills will do just fine. I would also look a getting set up to long line troll. It's the easiest way to catch crappie. Long lining is about over for this year but I would definitely look at getting ready for next spring.
