First time boat owner and new member here and I took my 8 yr old son and 4 yr old daughter out to Neely Henry (Canoe Creek) yesterday evening to crappie fish. It was white capping so far from ideal conditions and we only fished a few hours and landed zero. We were jig and bobber fishing using similar techniques I’ve used on Smith and Bear Creek lakes many moons ago. Any tips you guys can provide?

I have an Xpress XP7 that currently only has a DI humminbird at the console.
