It works great for everything, but the problem with looking for fish with it is you have to stop and put the trolling motor down to use it. It's best to search with a good side imagine then go to the live scope to make your cast or approach if you are spider rigging. It would probably save me a few cast that it takes me to find the brush pile. I can see some cases where it would be very helpful like fishing a stump row where there's 1 or 2 fish on random stumps but most of what I do side image is a better option. I can ride by and scan it in seconds and I know if there's fish there. I'm not looking for 2 or 3 fish very often. I'm looking for the mother load!
