It's coming here in Memphis, Bartlett, TN area.

Intial "soft" shutdown went into effect earlier this week, but it's all but being ignored. Now the mayor has had to shutdown city parks etc as of a few hours ago. I have seen a slight decrease in traffic around Memphis but not much maybe 10% less or so. What I have seen is a big increase of older folks out an about. Been working in Bartlett last couple of days and most folks I see out are the ones that are considered most susceptible to the virus. Guess you can't kill good old American spirit, but I now find it hard to believe that the blame is placed on the younger folks squarely for disregarding and spreading the virus to the more vulnerable due to irresponsibility. It will get more intense as the masses choose to ignore it. Use common sense is all, and I don't subscribe to the fear factor one bit. If I didn't have to be around other folks then I wouldn't, but I would not stay locked in the house either!
