Lots of great advice and observations given.
Same things I have observed,
Some days you eat the bear, and some days the bear eats you.
I have learned to just catch what I can, and move on.
I do switch back and forth between hair/feather jigs and plastics, spoons also.
Many times switching out colors has helped me catch a limit off one pile.
