Thread: Making weedless jigs

After watching the fishing machine's video, i tied up a few. I only had 60 lb test line ( a brail line from a old throw net ) . I will try some 40 lb test when i get some. I pre crimped the line as it was fairly stiff. I also tried it on a marabou jig. We fished a little while Monday around the mouth of Elk river under the docks. The bluegill would not leave the jig alone. We caught a few of them but no crappie. Hope the weedless jigs help out in tree tops and under the docks.
