I fished Barron Fork off Zierdt Rd yesterday morning. I casted isolated stumps in three to four feet of water returning a couple dozen short Crappie and probable a 100 small gills. Culled through keeping 15 nice Gills and 4 Crappie. Best bait ended up being a 1/32oz jig head with a 1" Gulp Alive Minnow. The water was 88 degrees a daylight and had warmed to 91 by the time I left around lunch.
