Coach Bryant said you always needed to have plan B and much to the chagrin of you barners, he was always right. With this in mind I went up to Nickajack lake to take Daddy Bream fishing. I thought it might be a little early so I left my rod holders on the boat and took my crappie gear. We fished most of the morning with not much success with the Bream and crackers so we switched over to long lining. Found fish coming off beds on flats in 3 to 8 feet of water. We caught 23 plus numerous catfish and a few shell crackers. Daddy put in on me pretty good as he caught the biggest part of them which was fine with me. It is such a blessing that I can still take my 91 year old Dad fishing!
