Made it down Sunday evening and got camp set up really fast, so I could go find some fish. Tried long lining, because I heard they haven't moved up. Pulled in one creek for 10mins, nothing on the side image and no bites. So I moved to a new creek, same thing. Well they got to be shallow, so tried a lay down, boom! 20 something caught and it was dark.
Next day started running spawning banks and caught plenty for my troubles. By the 3rd day we had them figured out pretty good and it was limits for all. Sent everyone home with coolers full of fish and threw a bunch back for seed. We found many different patterns that worked and had to adjust with the weather. The shallow fish would quit after the cold night and start back later. We just jumped back and forth as needed on deeper fish on lay downs on colder days and run banks on warm days.
Kids had a blast cooking hotdogs over the fire and smores for dessert. We had lots of friends and family down camping and cooking and good fellowship. It was a great trip, one to remember.
Didn't take many pictures because of cleaning fish and cooking. Did get one of my friends evening catches, but we all had good catches. One picture is from the boat ramp at night, we caught a good many there.
