    It should be a fishermens responsability to remove all that clutter from those pilings. Nice picture.

    I hope this doesn't hi-jack this thread but I think this picture can help me understand my Si.
    I assume the fish are near or on the bottom around the pilings. But what does the amber represent versus the black. And what are the spots in the amber around the pilings?

    The black is the water column under the boat; the amber is the bottom to the sides of the boat. The fish are near the top, not the bottom, of the pilings. The spots in the amber are the sonic "shadows" of the fish in the water column.

    Did I get it right? Don't have SS but am getting a new G3N Mega+ SI 'bird for my new boat after first of the year.
