Eating all the crappies shad fry up along with the stinking spotted gar there at 69 bridge

I fish both jigs and minnows. Majority of the time I’m jigging using a 1/16 jig head with a sickle hook. Black and chartreuse has been my color here recently or either white and chartreuse. I switch up from time to time as the bite slows down. I’ve tried to throw a minnow out on a floater on one rod while jigging with the other but I always end up losing a Crappie or two focusing on jigging lol! When those stripe start to hit all I do is drop my depth and it usually does the trick!

Put you some glow sticks on the end of your pole and tight line brother. You will see the bites better. And yes, the Crappie are about a ft-3ft below the Stripes. I'm trying to go tonight but can't seem to find a partner.

Were they pulling water? If so, how bad was the vegetation floating through under the bridge? We tried to fish, not too awful far from the bridge last Saturday and the chopped up floating vegetation was so bad that we could hardly even fish.
