Fur I wish I could help you. Don't crappie fish much in summer my self. Maybe I can come over one day and we will give it a try. I think summer pattern would be similar to winter. Fish deep structure on creek channels. Might have to use minnards which are hard to keep alive in summer unless you can get tuffies. We need to learn to pull cranks. That is a bunch more money I need to spend on line counter reels baits ect. Like i don't have enough stuff already. Go get the cats. Go below the dam when they are generating and drift using chicken livers or shad guts. Rig you a 1oz sinker on the bottom of your line and a snelled hook about 18 inches above it. Drift in the current allowing your sinker to barely touch the bottom and hold on. I,ve had a lot of summer fun in the past doing this. I Don't keep any but get my line stretched a lot. I'll go do that with you sometime if you want. I'm fixing to go to Cocodrie speckled trout fishing. If I had your money I'd stay all summer.
