    So so it is possible to stock a three acre pond with crappie I guess. They could use some minnows I think but we caught four different spawns. The size difference was very obvious 12" was biggest. Probably ten of them

    You better start thinning them fast or they will take over my cousin has a pond that’s about a acre it used to be taken care of now that it’s been let go . you can catch hundreds but they r only 4-6”

    If you keep them regularly they do very well in small lakes.

    Notice eyes will start getting bigger and bellies sunken, they will maintain till about year 3 or 4 but like Slab prowler said they going to get small with nickle sized eyes . you might buy some time by buying about 5 lbs of minnows from a minnow farm and dump them in once a month .Best bet is if you caught 200 should keep 200 ,less competiton for food...They will be eating their young if not already
