That's going to be completely dependent upon which taxidermist you take it to.

Check their work and make sure they are familiar with the fish from the body of water you caught it in, makes a big difference on the paint job you'll get. It really does depend on the taxidermist you use.
FurFlying is right. My taxidermist finished mine in about 10 days. He did a wonderful job and mounted it on a piece of cypress wood with the info on a brass plate. Look for another taxidermist.

Lee Black- life-like taxidermy. He's around the moulton area. He's got a couple pictures of crappie he has mounted on his Facebook page. I might be wrong but don't think he has a website
