It was brutal today. No luck for me.
Never had more than 4 crappie in a boat before, so maybe I need to just quit.

Don't give up. When I started chasing Crappie a dozen years ago I made multiple trips without catching a single fish.
Learn a little each trip and it will slowly start coming together. By the way, about the time you thing you have it figured out you'll get skunked again.
