Thread: Neely Henry ACT

Ok guys. We came down from North Carolina to Alabama from Sunday to Sunday this past week for the Neely Henry American Crappie trail. You guys have a Great Lake and Coosa River is awesome. We caught some nice fish all week. We found some real good fish up river in some shallow pockets. The main river was moving fast. We came in 12th against some of the best fishermen in the county and were happy with that with 2 day 20.22 lbs. I’d sure love to be down there in a couple weeks. We found fish from 2’ to 15 ft. The water dropped almost 2’ in two days and pulled the real good fish out we had found Monday and Tuesday. Here’s what the 360 looked like in some of those pockets. Fish everywhere.

You guys need to get out there and get you some. Lol. I know between us two boats we caught a 100 good 1.25 plus lb fish each.

Thanks to the city of Gadsden for letting the ACT have a tourney there.

Our buddies end up winning after another guy we fish with all the time also from NC accidentally weighed in 8 fish. He’s one of the best dock shooters in the county and fished docks all week.
