Thread: Got in a few at gville finally

Wife and I went out Sunday evening in our new to us boat. I graphed 2 schools but couldn't stay on them due to the wind. We decided to go to a protected area and try again. We found them in the back of a creek and man was it fun. I don't know how many whitems bass we caught. I kept 5 of em to clean. Cleaned 15 crappie also. Only 2 of them were shorter than 12 and biggest was 15. I lost one at the boat that I'd swear would go 18. I told the wife to lip it, cause I had forgot the dip net. The fish was next to the boat and she starts picking it up by the line. And as I'm yelling noooooo! The line pops! So she is never getting to go again.

They were in 8 to 10 fow. Caught em tight lining a jig and floating a jig about 2ft down. Chartreuse color. Sorry for the poor pic. It's the best one I have.

nice catch. wish you had gotten the big one
