I agree and that was a situation that was evaluated in a hurry but growing up on the water and swimming as Long as I can remember as a small child beside being drown proofed in the Navy, water even cold is not a problem for me Bravo...... Ulterra commercial

Mine got away from me back in the spring, I immediately started stripping down and then thought better of it. I am, was, a strong swimmer and in decent shape but not near young as I was. Just not worth it to me, I could have driven around and got it off the bank in a few hours if need be. got Billbob out of his camper and he took me to it.

Right there with you guys. They make boats ever day. What Tony said about not being able to get back in the boat scares me to. that's why I got a swim platform on my new boat plus it will keep me form have a bad back from pulling the kids out of the water. In all honesty if you fall in this time of year with a lot of close on it can be very difficult to get back in the boat. Would be a good idea to have a plan in place for falling in and getting back in .

Yep. Ain't no boat worth my momma losing her 3rd favorite son either, and she only had 2 of us. LOL

Ive worn one for a couple years but never tested it to see how it floats. I’ve seen the videos and know it’s suppose too. I think about it often when fishing alone since I never wear a life jacket if I’m wearing “the suit “. I may jump in this summer with it on.

The only trolling motor that will ever go on my boat is the ultera. I have one on my walleye boat and because of arthritis I have bought a fishing toon. I put a new 36 volt ultera on it and I haven't tried it out yet. Hoping to go on it's maiden voyage next week. I love both of mine

I got my Ultra after getting bounced around the nose of the boat trying to pull my terrova back in the boat on Sardis in a pretty good wind. At 66 Im not anywhere near as steady on my feet as I used to be.

It sure is nice too, ruff water was the main reason I got it. Turn into the wind, get everything tied down, motor cranked and stow, as it comes over the bow plane out, sure is nice.
