What unit do you have? I've got the helix 10 Gen 1 and I'd love for it to look that good

Helix 12 chirp gen 1

I would fish both, this time of year with all of the cold fronts coming through, the fish might be on the bottom and your unit might not be picking them up. You just have to fish and see, if not move on.

Definitely some kind of fish and yes I would wet a hook there. Looks like crappie but you don't know for sure till you hook one.

jess it's about time I tried and didn't catch anything but I'm trying to learn the electronics . Now I have to figure out how to put them in the boat.
