I'm working on it. I'm still waiting to hear back.

Trying to see who would be the contact company for this area. Al Power said they don't service the area.
This is what she just told me. So maybe we could call them?

Any lights on Lake Guntersville will be TVA. I don't know which power company works them but I'd start with the TVA office.
I think you are right.been a while so it couldnt remember where it was.

Highlighting your statement “Alabama is so backwards with the laws”..
With very few exceptions, Alabama is the friendliest State as it goes with 2A laws, wild game laws, and frankly anything having to do with a law abiding citizen lawfully owning firearms. God Bless Alabama.

They are looking into it.
That was just down the river from Colbert Steam Plant. I was working as a TVA contractor at the time and that steam plant was my territory. It was a horrible murder. The perps shot the little boy first and made his Dad watch, then killed him. So horribly brutal and senseless. :(
Did they ever catch them?

TVA called me back last night.
The State of Alabama controls certain parts to Guntersville. TVA covers only the north part of the lake. [email protected] is the email to the department that covers Browns Creek and Towns Creek, in case you all would like to email them about the street lights and recent robberies. I took the initiative to get the ball rolling, but if more than one person speaks out, they might not wait until someone gets killed.
AL is ranked #18 2017
Arkansas is the most lose when it comes to gun laws. But I was just stating that I have seen it flipflop in the subject's favor many times working with LE. But I am friends with Game Wardens and I used to work with Game and Fish back in 2001. My buddy that is a GW told me he'd blow their heads off. LOL. You guys be safe out there. I took this post very seriously because these are my go to spot.

Seems as I am the ONLY person to report this, so I'll just let it go. I did my part. Stay safe out there.

This is the reply I got. Not the right person or POC to work this area of the lake.
If I am correct, the area that you are referring to is in Guntersville. I am with the US Fish and Wildlife Service and we manage the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge that lies between Decatur and Huntsville. Our officers do not have any jurisdiction in the area that you described. Perhaps you were trying to contact the State ADCNR? Their office is in Jacksonville, AL and their number is 256-435-5422 but I suspect that they are going to recommend that you call the local Sheriff's department for those types of issues. Also, I'd recommend that you call the City of Guntersville if any of those areas are within the Guntersville police jurisdiction.
Thank you!

Yeah, Bob, sorry. That is what they passed along. This man here that I am about to post, he is the real deal.
His reply:
I will not allow this type of criminal activity to happen in my back yard. Tell them I am always available.
Thank you,

I gave him the link to this. He is checking on it.
But he advised that the bridges are actually property of ALDOT and the installation of any type of lighting would be next to impossible.
I bet if they do anything... They just put up some no fishing signs... Or some no fishing after sunset... That way it doesn’t cost as much... Then if you get robbed or killed their covered...
Yes, a few weeks later if I remember correctly. The whole deal was to steal the man's truck to use in a bank robbery in Mississippi and then buy drugs with the money. They then burned the truck back in AL near the state line and returned to their community near there in AL. They were identified, 2 met and a woman I believe, and arrested. Drugs and white scum of the earth addicts was the root of the whole, horrible situation. That little boy was just 9 years old and a good ball player :(
Signs lights etc... still won’t stop crackheads. It may help but always be prepared and know your surroundings.
And I saw that article on the news this morning where they stole the truck to use in a robbery in Mississippi. Wow that’s crazy.

After reading about that murder, I think I'm gonna start keeping an AR and a few extra mags in the boat.
