I remember crappie fishing with my grandparents down there 30 years ago. They had one of about 10 places there back then across from the marina on the lower end. Remember just wearing them slabs out all the time with them. But also it was rare to see another boat down there back then. Might fish all day and see two boats. Road used to stop at they’re driveway. Now it’s a little town pretty much. Crazy how that place exploded.
