    Opinions please. Im thinking/ hoping i can get away with laying my deck on top of some foam and fastening it down with this 1inch square. I think with the battery and fasteners it should. The foam should keep it from flexing.


    Your thoughts please.

    I put the foam board in the bottom of a 16 ' flat bottom that I used to have . then put 1/2 "plywood over it .it made the floor very sturdy and worked great on reducing the sound .i screwed the plywood to the braces then put carpet over the board . I'm 350 + and it held up great.

    Did the same on an old v bottom I had years ago, should work fine. I also added good stuff, the expanding foam in a can.

    I bought mine at Home Depot its in sheets and they had several different thickness.

    I did that once but made a 2x4 frame. then ply wood, hinged a lid and put a cooler in it for a livewell.
    When nothing is going right, Just go fishing.
