Cotaco Creek, 9 Sept 17
Another beautiful morning to be on the water. Water temp ranged from 77-79 degrees. Still no current and the water remains stained. I was surprised the water temp did not come down a degree or two with the last three nights getting into the upper 40's.
Catch = 10. All Black Crappie caught on laydowns. Boxed 6 that were 10-12 inches. Gave the 6 away to three gentleman at the Triana ramp. Had even luck on both sides of Sharps Ford Bridge.
Baits: All BG. Tried the kitchen sink today. No pattern today whatsoever. Caught them on 6 to 7 different BG flavors. They would not take mayfly or live minnow...hmm?
Another great day on the water!
Prayers for all that are dealing with Hurricane Irma!
